Betsy Magness has served on the pastoral staff of churches ranging from 250 to 5000, but now her full-time ministry is as a professor of Worship Leadership at Milligan University. She teaches Bible and worship ministry classes and mentors students as they plan campus worship services. Betsy continues to serve alongside the fantastic staff team at First Christian Church in Johnson City, TN as a Minister of Worship and Communications.

When she was a college student, Betsy wondered for the first time if she might be called to ministry. Now that she has been a minister for more than a couple of decades, she hopes her story might help others who are wondering if they are called to ministry, too.

Betsy is passionate about helping the next generation explore God's call, grow in their readiness to serve and lead, and plan worship services that connect people to God.
